Where did they get these self-sabotaging beliefs? From their early childhood. It could have been an off-hand comment by a parent, teacher or caretaker. Often times it was unimaginable physical, sexual or emotional abuse.
The unwanted event and the belief it created stays buried beneath conscious awareness, like a mind virus. Unfortunately, once you agree with a negative I am statement... you act as if it is true.

How We Release Trauma Stored in the Body
A great deal of human suffering can be traced back to a false perception of reality and a mis-understanding of who we really are. Your mind is programmable. Own your internal programming, or someone else will do it for you. The good news is that programming can be undone and you can be restored to your original state of inner peace, joy, and love.
Your body is the messenger and your first and last line of defense. When you are overwhelmed by a big negative feeling when you are young, you don't have the capacity to process it. So your system acts to protect you by suppressing the emotion and it gets stuck. Life keeps triggering you until to fully process the negative feeling.
I guide you to find all of your emotional landmines and erase them by fully processing them for the first time. You will then look around, and like all of my clients, try to find these negative thoughts and emotions. You will realize that they are gone. It will seem so unbelievable because they have been part of your experience most of your life and you mistakenly thought that they were part of you.
